It's Fido's turn for fun at the Dog Daze of Summer

Looking for a fun event for the whole family...and the family pet? Grab Rover's leash and join the Neighborhood Resource Program for this annual event on Saturday, August 19 from 9 a.m. to noon at the east end of Redstone Park and Rover's Run at Redstone Park Dog Off-Leash Area in Highlands Ranch.

Dogs and their owners can enjoy Fido-friendly activities, including the following:

Free gifts for your pet, while they last, provided by the Metro Districts.

Interactive activities

Demonstrations from some talented canines.
9:20 a.m. Douglas County Sheriff's Office K-9 Unit Demonstration
9:50 a.m. Dog first aid demonstration and training with C.J. Kausel
10:10 a.m. Obedience demonstration with the Doberman Pincher Club of the Rocky Mountain Area
10:30 Dog contests with prizes. Contests include best trick, best dressed, and longest, shortest, and craziest tails.
11:15 a.m. Colorado Disc Dogs Demonstration

Booths with specialty services and pet-related items, a dog agility course, refreshments and more.

Redstone Park and Rover's Run Dog Off-Leash area is located at the intersection of Town Center Dr. and Foothills Canyon Boulevard. For more information, please contact the Metro District at 720-240-4909.
