Russ Burden is an internationally published photographer and his wildlife and scenic images have appeared in numerous magazines and calendars. Burden is a multiple-time winner in Nature's Best Windland Smith Rice International Competition. Check out his award-winning photograph of a mandarin duck at www.naturesbestphotography.com. He also teaches classes for the Panasonic sponsored Digital Photo Academy. Check out his website at www.russburdenphotography.com.
The Highlands ranch resident is the owner of Russ Burden Nature Photo Tours and runs workshops around the country to the best locations at the times they appear in their utmost glory. Also, he writes a weekly Photo Tip column for www.takegreatpictures.com.
Burden will do a workshop program on Nature Photography on Thursday, March 13 at 7:00 p.m. The workshop will be held at University Park Methodist Church, 2180 S. University Blvd., Denver. The presentation will be followed by the monthly club member competition in slides (assigned topic) and prints.
Please join us for this evening of great photography with the William Henry Jackson Camera Club.
The W. H. Jackson Camera Club has existed since the 1940's and is named after one of the western United States' best known early photographers. Each monthly workshop features member slide and print competitions and a presentation. The club also has a monthly luncheon which includes a talk. Call Rich Ellian, 303-758-5571, for more information.
