Local groups bring 'culture' to Civic Green Park

The Littleton Symphony Orchestra performed May 30 at Civic Green Park, 9370 Ridgeline Blvd., at the first Culture on the Green performance of the season.

Culture on the Green is presented by Highlands Ranch Cultural Affairs Association, Public Service Credit Union and Metro District of Highlands Ranch. There will be one performance held per month through September. Here is the schedule:

June 13: Kids' Koncert with Michael Friedman and Swingset Jazz
July 18: Denver Mile Hi Banjo Society
Aug. 22: Groove Society (a cappella)
Sept. 19: The Covers

All performances are free and take place from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Civic Green Park. Call 303-791-2500 for more information.
