Champps Americana is giving basketball fans a chance to show off their skills by hosting a YouTube dunk contest during the month of March. The twist: There are no rules.
Lowered rims, trampolines, and group efforts are not only allowed, but encouraged! Winners will receive a night of VIP treatment at Champps during the NCAA basketball national championship game on April 2.
The contest is part of Champps "Save the Fans" March Mania initiative. Throughout March, Champps is working to give fans the most enjoyable basketball experience possible. And what could be more enjoyable than hooping it up with your friends and emulating your favorite basketball stars on camera for a chance to win VIP seating for four and a $200 food and soft drink tab for the NCAA championship game?
The videos will be voted on solely by the viewing public. Dunks with the highest YouTube ratings in each contest region at the end of the contest will be named the winners. There are eleven contest areas: Chicago, IL; Cleveland, OH; Columbus, OH; Dallas, TX; Denver, CO; Detroit, MI; Indianapolis, IN; Minneapolis, MN; Philadelphia, PA; Raleigh/Durham, NC; Washington D.C. The contest city must be clearly marked in the title or description of each entry. Prizes will only be awarded to contest cities with three or more entries. Entries must be submitted by March 28 to be considered for the contest.
