Mountain Vista field hockey takes on Grandview

The Mountain Vista girls field hockey team met Grandview High School on a cold, drizzly morning of Oct. 11 at Shea Stadium, 3270 Redstone Park Circle, Highlands Ranch.

The teams battled hard, keeping the game scoreless and sending it into overtime. Grandview scored with 20 seconds left in overtime, winning 1-0.

Mountain Vista is ranked third in state and is tentatively scheduled for a playoff game against Cherry Creek at 4:15 p.m. Oct. 16 at Shea Stadium.
