South Suburban Announces BMX Racing Season

Racers, are you ready? South Suburban Parks and Recreation invites new and experienced bicycle motocross (BMX) riders to the newly redesigned County Line BMX Race Track, located at the David A. Lorenz Regional Park just east of Colorado Blvd. and south of County Line Rd. BMX racing takes place every Sunday beginning April 15, with registration starting at 10 am and racing beginning at 11 am. The racing fee is $10 and 1st - 3rd places receive trophies. There will also be racing two Fridays every month, May 4 and 18; June 1 and 15; July 13 and 20; and August 3 and 10. Register for these races at 6 pm and the action starts at 7 pm. The same $10 fee applies. Ribbons awarded for top racers. All racers are required to bring a helmet, bike and protective clothing.
