The Bicycle Pedal'r Cycling Team, sponsored by Keller Williams Realty, completed the 2008 racing season with an impressive 13 Top Three Finishes. The second-year team also had 58 Top 10 Finishes as well as 100 Top 20 Finishes.

"We were pleased with our success this season-especially because we've been racing together only two years and many of the teams had more than the 12 racers that we had," says Bruce Pfabe, an agent with Keller Williams' DTC Market Center and one of the 12 racers on the team.

"We all ride and race because we love it and enjoy the friendships developed with the other riders," Pfabe explains. "Many of us are competitive by nature and are driven by the goals of improving our times over last year."

The Best All Around Team Results included a 3 rd Place in the 35+4 category;a 16 th Place in the 45+ category; and a 16th Place in the 55+ category. Team member Dave Williams was recognized as 5th Best All Around Rider in the 35+4 Category while Team Member Bennett Hug was 12th in that same category.

As a result of their first and/or second placed finishes at The Rocky Mountain Senior Games last June, Team Members Don Carrington and Chip Merrow have been invited to represent Colorado in the 2009 National Senior Games in Palo Alta, Calif. in August 2009.

Other members of the 2008 Bicycle Pedal'r Team included: Dale Arnold, Brion Antinoro, Jon Nichols, Birt Stern, Brian Wenham, Aaron Zoermer and Warren Streck.

In addition to the racing program, the team participated in numerous events to showcase the team sponsorship, such as Team Tokyo Joe's AST Spring Criterium, Lone Tree Bicycle Safety Rodeo, Elephant Rock Century, Colorado Bike to Work Day, the 121-mile Triple Bypass and The Children's Hospital Courage Classic.

The Keller Williams sponsorship group for the bicycle team was comprised of the Colorado Regional office, the DTC Market Center, Park Meadows Market Center, Highlands Ranch Market Center and International Equity Ventures (IEV), the ownership group for six of the Keller Williams offices in the metro area.
