Growth should pay its own way -- 'yes' on 2A
Contributed by: Karen Crossen and Jeff May on 10/20/2006

Letter to the Editor:

Growth should pay its own way! We all know that new businesses and people
are coming to Littleton. They will bring in revenues to the city -- but
they also will need police protection, fire protection and other city
services. If the city can't keep the revenues they generate, the rest of
us will have to pay for those services.

Littleton needs to take off its TABOR cap to ensure that growth pays its
own way. Existing residents shouldn't have to subsidize growth, which is
what will happen if we don't pass 2A. Please join us in voting YES on 2A.

Sincerely,

Karen Crossen and Jeff May

More money to be wasted on trivial projects. The wonderful past accomplishments were approved by voters specifically. Now you want a blank check because they have wasted so much on one study after another, and have nothing to show for it. Norm
