Hi there...we senior citizens (65 and older all healthy, no canes, walkers, wheelchairs, crutches or oxygen tanks)hope to win the chance to watch the Rockies at an actual game because we get together at our home or one of theirs to watch every single game and we need a change of venue!WIN or LOSE, the Rockies are THE team!! My husband was born and raised in Denver and has never been able to attend a game in person. Nor have I. We love the Rockies and we and our friends would treasure a chance to see them in person. We will take out a loan for the gas to get there (we live in Lafayette, you see) if necessary, and yell our heads off......clapclap clapclapclap clapclapclapclap TULOOOOO!!
We admire the team in more ways then their ability to play ball.I don't want to name names because I'm afraid I'd leave some of them out(we oldies but goodies do forget a LOT)..but I'll just say that it would be an HONOR to attend a game in person and lose our voices yelling for "our boys".
The point of my entering this isto have a chance to enjoy a day with friends, watching our team (win or lose) in the REAL environment and excitement of an "in person" game.
Oh yes...and most important..if you do choose us, please send directions on how to get there, as old folks do losetheir sense of direction amd we'd hate to end up in San Diego watching the Padres and rooting for the Rockies when they aren't even there.
So come ONNNN guys..give the old folks a chance to make fools of themselves watching their boys beat the pants off another team!! And finally the words we love to say......GOOOOOOOO ROCKIES!!!
