Blog Entry 211 of 267 Computing and you!
What's going on in computing, why it's important to master the productivity software on your computer and how to harness the power your computer provides you at work and in your home.

Wash your hands AND your keyboard!

The on-going concerns about the H1N1 virus bring one common recommendation:

Wash your hands!

A great idea and it got me to thinking that you should be thinking how many people in your household share a computer keyboard.

Likely the whole family who work, play or go to school with all sorts of people who maybe don't wash their hands.

Take a close look at the keyboard of your computer or laptop, especially between the keys. Before you faint, head to the store and buy a can of compressed air then blow out all the dust and debris that accumulates between those keys.

Then be prepared to clean up the area around the keyboard where all that stuff gets blown around.

Follow-up by gently wiping the tops of your computer keys with an antibacterial wipe.

Repeat often and stay healthy my friends.
