Search Gorilla is putting on weight.

Google has long been the 800 pound gorilla in search. You might want to check the scales.

TechNewsWorld reports that interest in search rival Bing from Microsoft might be leveling off. Since Bing's launch 3 months ago, Google has been adding new features, some in beta test others ready for regular folks.

Take it from me, you don't maintain, or gain market share by sitting still.

Years ago when Yahoo was pretty much the only choice for search, upstart Google came along. It took it more than 3 months to earn the dominant position it holds today, so don't count out Bing yet.

I like Bing, especially the daily photo. Always interesting.

But for you, me and everyone else, it's always about results. What engine gets you where and what you want the quickest.

The good news is there's robust competition. Competition is a good thing for consumers.
