Last year I was having a hard time thinking up New Year's resolutions. While most people make New Year's resolutions to do things like lose weight or stop smoking, I wanted to do something unique.
I came up with the idea of taking a photo everyday and posting it online. But to make it even more interesting, I decided to do it all from my camera phone. Well, it worked for a week or so, but since I work from home, I don't really get out that much and most of my pictures were of my dog or beer - not very exciting.
So, I let my daily photo project die a slow death. But then, one of my coworkers sent me a link to a photo blog where two people from across the country decided to each post a picture to the blog in the morning and in the afternoon. This inspired us to revive the project. And with two people keeping tabs on each other, it suddenly became a lot more fun.
We decided that we'd post our pictures to Flickr using the tag "MoPhos," which as you can probably guess is short for Mobile Photos. Turns out another user was already posting photos with that tag, so we just decided to help grow the Flickr MoPhos tagspace.
So here's an invitation to all of my fellow YourHubbers. Join me and become a MoPho! But let's keep it local. All you need to do is set up a Flickr account and set it up so that any photo you submit by email has the tag "Denver MoPhos" (Feel free to tag them "MoPhos" as well to get into the main page.) Then take some photos and MMS them to your Flickr email.
Once you submit your pictures, they'll show up on these pages:

If you're interested in participating, but don't know how to set up the Flickr stuff, leave a comment and I'll give better instructions.
