The Pumpkin Pie Factor

Yesterday will be etched in my memory forever. It was Thursday November 16, 2006. The colors of the day were brighter than I had remembered in a while, and the scents of the day were full of coffee, citrus, cinnamon, lovely pancakes with strawberries and whipped cream, eggs, and hashbrowns galore.

I had jitters like you might have before a job interview, or a first day of school, or a first day of anything. I just had butterflies in my stomach. My social skills lacked finesse it seemed.

I was shaking when I sat down at the table already full of yourhub.com super users,veterans and journalism experts. I felt rather out of place, but pulled myself together, and said each name to myself 3 times. I had always been fairly good at name recollection, and this would be a test, but I had a head start on several familiar names who would be attending prior to my arrival. Barbara, Bill, Brendan, Tabitha, Karin, John, Charmaine, Daniel........ I'd be lying if I said that I'd really wanted to go. I wanted the whole thing called off so that I didn't have to get in my car and come. But you came, I came............all in the name of yourhub.com and pumpkin pie. Thanks everyone for a really nice time.
