A political pundit said most of us live life between the 40 yard lines. I'm one of them. Sometimes I'm right of center, sometimes the other way around.

They call it Stormy Monday.

"They call it Stormy Monday, Tuesday's twice as bad...."-T-Bone Walker, originally recorded in 1947.

A couple of things have me feeling "Stormy" this Monday.

1. Apparently failure is an option, at least on Wall Street. With no risk. Blow Billions? No worries. Uncle Sam will bail you out. Keep those corporate jets flying!

I hope there will be no Congressional Hearings, nothing but blowhards blowing hard. Which totally blows.

What we need are some rough, tough and hard to bluff special prosecutors to be hired, and hired today. Total freedom to dig where they need to.

Some people need to be taken out back and shot. Let's find them asap. And oh yeah, a bunch of corporate jets need to be put up for sale on eBay. Today.

2. Then there's the crew over at Saturday NIght Live. I defended a funny spoof last week by Tina Fey on Governor Palin. Great satire.

But the SNL bunch has taken crap to a new low. They thought it would be funny to do a skit about Todd Palin with the "joke" being about incest with his daughter.

God it makes me want to puke.

And as T-Bone wrote, Tuesday's twice as bad.
