Blog Entry 3 of 6 2007 Lakewood City Council/Mayorial Race Blog
This is what I think of the mayorial race. It will explain my postings and include responses to postings.

I wonder about schools and the city elections
Contributed by: Allan Berger   on 9/25/2007

So, I wonder why our city council and mayorial candidates mention their support for schools in their campaign literature.

I know that schools are important. But the schools in Lakewood are all run by Jeffco.

Does the city contribute something to the schools that I do not know about?

With Lakewood having an IB program, Alameda getting one, I don't want to see GM get left behind. I am not saying that this is the case, I just want to support GM anyway that I can.

Just read it. Nice concept. But what about Green Mountain, which is your neighborhood school (I think)?

Mr. Berger, I believe the Lakewood Police Department provides the school resource officers, beyond that I am not sure. I want to address this issue directly, so please go to my blog (it is up and running)and I will address these and others questions posted by you. www.adamapaul.com/blog/index.php
