Blog Entry 3 of 154 Computing and you!
What's going on in computing, why it's important to master the productivity software on your computer and how to harness the power your computer provides you at work and in your home.

Computer literacy for all, including Presidents.

There are a lot of jokes, cartoons and videos circulating on the Web about Senator John McCain and his lack of computer skills.

A couple of have even included Video Professor!

Clip #1

Clip #2(Jimmy Kimmel Live segment)

There was even a cartoon last Friday in the Rocky about Senator McCain confusing a microwave oven with a computer.

Great satire, but if potentially the next President of the United States barely knows the basics of computing if at all, there must be others.

We at Video Professor support many non-profit groups like the Native American Chamber of Commerce Achievement Centers providing them online computer learning.

It reminds me all the time of the huge amount of people in the country, and obviously around the world who don't have the basic skills needed in today's work place. People of all ages and backgrounds. You'd be surprised at the number of political and business leaders that have few computer skills.

Which means I have plenty of work left to do!
