Web 2.0: One slight problem for sports fans.
Contributed by: John Scherer   on 8/26/2008

The next Olympics I'm going to have to be a lot more careful when I'm on the web looking for news.

Like a growing number of folks, I've replaced the printed page with a digital one instead for news.

But too many times during the Olympics I found out results when I really wanted to wait and watch the event on TV later.

This summer's games in Beijing were "tomorrow" while we watched "today." Darn International Dateline!

But the Web knows no such boundries. It's one information source that is current regardless of time zone.

Thankfully the 2010 Winter Games are in Vancouver, just a time zone away. When it comes to sports, I hate to see the score before I can watch the game or event!

P.S.
Denver is jammed with celebs, stars and delegates. I was dining with friends last night when a young man came over and asked me for an autograph! Thanks Adam for making me feel like a celeb, even for one night.
