Blog Entry 5 of 154 Computing and you!
What's going on in computing, why it's important to master the productivity software on your computer and how to harness the power your computer provides you at work and in your home.

Thank you U.S. Army!
Contributed by: John Scherer   on 7/22/2008

One of the best parts of coming to work each day is the opportunity to help out computer literacy programs.

Video Professor, Inc has donated lessons to a Pentagon project to provide computer training to military veterans and we received this very nice recognition and "Freedom Team Salute" from the Chief of Staff of the United Army, General George W. Casey Jrand Secretary of the Army Pete Geren.

It's always nice to receive this kind of thank you, but in this case it's us who thank all those who wear, or who have worn the uniform to protect our nation.

I second your "thank you" to the U.S. Army, and all the military for their service. Your donation speaks well of your desire to further computer literacy John.
