I'm not remotely surprised at the just how savvy computer crooks and hackers are getting these days.
Jordan Roberton writes in the the Associate Press about
the latest scheme
published in USA Today. (Their tech section is awesome by the way)
Millions visit youtube every day. It's a great place to find videos of just about any kind, or post videos. It's been a leader in the social media online revolution.
Crooks find it a great way to fool you, hack into your computer and make a mess of things.
In a nutshell you end up on a website that looks just like youtube. You can't play the video you want to see and are prompted to download a program so you can.
Game, set and hack.
I urge you to read the article I linked to above. Be careful out there.
