Airlines going Online
Contributed by: John Scherer   on 8/21/2008

American Airlines becomes the latest carrier to launch Internet service in the air.

Passengers on "longer" flights will be able to plug in, log on and connect to the Internet, their office or personal e-mails.

It will run you $13.95 per flight. Yes, it's additional revenue for the airlines, especially since American has stopped charging soldiers extra baggage fees! (Couldn't resist that one)

But flying, especially on cross country flights can really be expensive down time for many business people. This way you get to be productive while flying from here to there and back.

One extra add-on that's a good one. Time is indeed these days, money.
