Something special is hanging in Lakewood Arts Council's "The Loft" Gallery. It's an invitational exhibit for the volunteers who donated their time and talents to LAC in 2009. We couldn't exist without their support.

There are some wonderful works in oil, colored pencil, pastel, watercolor and even a paper collage. As a convenience to our customers during these economic down days, we offer layaway on your art purchase.

Even more special is that the 2009 volunteers are the first to exhibit in our newly refurbished "The Loft" Gallery which is on the second floor of our Art Center. In November we had new self-healing fabric hung on our walls, uncovered one of our windows to let in more light, and most recently new trim along the ceiling and the addition/repair of our lighting has made this a top-notch display area for visual artists.

The exhibit will be on display until January 29th, when it is replaced on February 1st with our first juried exhibit for 2010, "Crystal Clear". For more information on entering this exhibit visit the Visual Arts link on our website, www.lakewoodartscouncil.org.
