What:	The 2nd Quarter registrations for adults studying English as a Second Language (ESL) were announced this week by Nancy Lambott, ESL/Literacy Coordinator, at McLain Community High School. Thursday, October 16, is the date for adults to enroll at McLain, 13200 W. 2nd Place, off the 6th Avenue Frontage Road between Simms and Indiana Streets(south of Red Rocks Community College). Registration will take place in Room 317 at 10 a.m., 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. The cost of morning classes is $40, and evening classes are $35. Books are included in the charge. Classes at Arvada Middle School, 5751 Balsam, also an ESL site, will register on Thursday, October 16. The times are 8:45 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. in Room 8. For information, call 303-982-1652. O'Connell Middle School's ESL classes will register on Wednesday, October 15, at 6:30 p.m. Students should meet in the main hall with registration taking place in Z Hall, Room 120. O'Connell's address is 1275 S. Teller St., Lakewood. Edgewater Elementary School's ESL site will register on Tuesday, October 18, at 3:15 p.m., Temp 3. The address is 14th Avenue and Depew St., Edgewater. All classes end the week of December 15. The next registration will be the week of January 12, 2009.
