Have you ever imagined how many acrobatic stunts are possible while spinning and tossing pizza dough? There isn't one stunt world champion pizza dough acrobat Justin Wadstein hasn't tried. He can throw dough lying on his back, spin it with his feet and stand blindfolded on a ball while spinning dough.
Justin will be entertaining for the first time in Denver at the
Festival Italiano Italian Food and Wine Festival at Belmar at 1 p.m., 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. on September 15 and 16. These free performances will be held on the Plaza at Belmar near West Alaska Drive and South Teller Street in Lakewood.
Justin's acrobatic pizza routine, which is choreographed to music, has caught worldwide acclaim. He is a six-time world champion pizza spinning champion. He's one of only two Americans to have won the championships in Italy. He has appeared on the Food Channel, America's Got Talent and Master of Champions.
Other activities at the Italian Food and Wine Festival include
Gli Sbandieratori, flag throwers from Florence, Italy; chefs demonstrating favorite Italian recipes; wine seminars; a children's grape stomp; story telling; a bocce tournament, and much more.
The festival will feature the finest Italian food, wine and artisan vendors who will sell ceramics, gelato, sausage, baked goods, pasta, flowers, herbs, sculpture, antique maps, and pizza. For more information visit
