Cemetery tree tour highlights Arbor Day

What:	NEXT › ‹ PREVIOUS Join Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary, Cemetery & Arboretum and the City of Wheat Ridge for a fun-filled community Arbor Day celebration. Olinger Crown Hill will share its vision plan for the newly designated arboretum, followed by a tour of the majestic trees located throughout the cemetery, including State Champions. International horticulture specialist Panayoti Kelaidis, Denver Botanic Gardens, Colorado State Forester Keith Wood and Olinger Crown Hill horticulture specialist Rick App will lead the tour. The City of Wheat Ridge will also receive a Tree City USA Award. Attendees will also enjoy a picnic lunch compliments of Olinger Crown Hill as well as tree care information, drawings for fruit trees, and leaf rubbings and tree identification activities for children provided by the City of Wheat Ridge Parks and Recreation. Free to the community.
