The Rink at Belmar has planned a special "Valen-twins Day" as a unique way to celebrate Valentines Day. Skaters who dress alike skate for free from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, February 14 at the Rink on West Alaska Drive and South Teller Street in Lakewood. Prizes will be awarded for the best twin kids, couples, women and men.

"We thought a look-a-like event would be fun for everyone," said Brittany Maynor, assistant marketing manager for Belmar. "It gives kids, couples or singles a great way to spend Valentine's Day outdoors. The crazier the outfits, the more fun it will be."

The Rink at Belmar is open from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays and from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays through February 24. Adults skate for $6 per hour and children skate for $4 per hour. Skate rental is $2 per hour.
