What happened to the Garrison Street Restaurant? It closed a few weeks ago and we haven't heard anything. It was very popular.
Hildy Schultz
Lakewood
Unfortunately, Hildy, the previous owner of the Garrison Street Restaurant felt that the place wasn't profitable, so he decided to close it, according to Mile Hi Church controller
Ed McCullough
. Mile Hi Church owns the property that the Garrison Street Restaurant was located at, which was on the corner of Alameda Avenue and Garrison Street in Lakewood.
However, McCullough added that a new restaurant, called Garrison's, will be taking its place. "The anticipated date for it to open is May 1," said McCullough. "But it all depends on how quickly they fix the place up. But I know it should be no later than June 1."
