Dear Dot,
Why was the children's play area removed from Colorado Mills? Located just outside of Kiddie Kandids and Carter's, it was a great place for Moms and kids to socialize and play.
The play area was safe, interactive and busy. With shops moving in and out of the mall constantly, I simply don't understand this decision. Young families need and want this environment inside a west side mall.

Dear Katherine,
The children's area is not longer at Colorado Mills because the contract with the play area, A Place to Grow, expired, said
Ally Murri, marketing administrative assistant for the mall. The lease agreement was for five years, and when the time was up, A Place to Grow decided not to renew its contract, she said.
However, the mall recognizes the need for such an area and plans are in the works to find a company to set up a similar play area. "We're hoping to find something that will be a good fit sooner than later," Murri said.
