"Belmar shoppers will be delighted to know that some of their favorite stores will be conveniently located at Belmar," said Marie Revenew, marketing director for Belmar. "Our goal is to make sure we provide a good mix of the national retailers that shoppers expect as well as an eclectic mix of local shops."
Locally owned stores that soon will be opening at Belmar include Mile High Wine & Spirits and Blissful Medspa.
Revenew said that since January, a number of unique stores have opened including Apple Doodles, offering one-of-a-kind gifts, cards and stationery; Pawsitively Boutique, which sells pet accessories, toys, treats, beds and houses; and Positively Jake, selling Life is Good ® clothing accessories and gifts for the entire family. Massage Envy, offering massages at convenient times and affordable prices and Las Margaritis, an owner-operated Mexican restaurant, already opened earlier this year.
Belmar, located at Wadsworth Boulevard and West Alameda Avenue in Lakewood, includes 72 shops and restaurants, entertainment, cultural activities, homes, offices and lots of free parking. For more information visit
