LAKEWOOD, CO - The Platinum Group, which will focus exclusively on serving the needs of metro Denver's luxury home market, has been formed by four of the top-performing REALTORs affiliated with RE/MAX Professionals, Inc. - Carl Dawson, Ernie Marcus, Joan Shaffer and Norm Te Slaa.

RE/MAX Professionals, Inc. was named one of the top 10 realty companies in the U.S. by Real Trends 2006.

THE RE/MAX COLLECTION is the luxury home division of RE/MAX International, which is by far the metro area leader in luxury homes sales. RE/MAX outsells the next-best luxury home competitor by more than two-to-one.

The Platinum Group partners have more than 100 years of combined real estate expertise; each is among the top one percent of REALTORs nationwide and the first Accredited Luxury Home Specialists designated in the U.S.

The Platinum Group has its offices at 390 Union Blvd., Lakewood. Initially, the partners will concentrate its luxury home marketing in the southwest, west and northwest metro Denver areas, from Highlands Ranch to Arvada, where RE/MAX Professionals, Inc. has concentrated its business since 1983.

The Platinum Group offices are in the center of the rapidly redeveloping West Corridor of Lakewood, which the group sees as an early focus.
