Women golfers needed
Contributed by: Linda Bradley on 3/7/2007

The HWGA 18 Hole Golf League welcomes all members, old and new, to its fifth season! We are excited about another great season of golf and look forward to everyone's participation. Join the league to share in the weekly golf, enjoyable competition, and social activities. There are openings in the league for golfers whether or not you already have a GHIN number. You may establish your handicap while playing.

Thursday mornings find us playing at The Homestead at Fox Hollow Golf Course. Our season kicks off with a brunch on March 29, 2007 with play beginning the following Thursday morning. We continue playing in the fall until the middle of October. Cost for new members to join is $80. Your membership includes: league membership, CWGA membership and GHIN handicap system; $2 contribution to the Hole-in-One Pot, 10% discount pro shop merchandise & play day food orders from the grille; and weekly payoffs. For anyone interested in playing in the league this year, applications are available at the golf course.

In addition, we invite all golfers to join us on July 19, 2007 for our annual Susan G. Komen golf tournament, proceeds going to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. It is a shotgun start at 7:30 AM. What fun it is to play in a tournament with over 100 other women golfers! Mark the date on your calendar!
