Alameda High to hold meeting on school remodel

Staff, students, parents, community members and leaders are encouraged to attend a community presentation at 6 p.m. Jan. 29 at Alameda High School auditorium regarding the Alameda High School building renovations. A presentation of the addition/remodel and the phase I concept will be given. A PowerPoint presentation will be given along with propped up boards to assist with the visuals. Speakers from the city of Lakewood will be in attendance to answer any questions. The architects, Christiansen & Reece & Partners, involved in this project will be introduced and available for questions. Bruce Huxley, Director of Capital Programs, Facilities Planning & Design from Jeffco Public Schools will be present to give a brief summary of the addition/remodel.

The groundbreaking ceremony for phase 1 of the Alameda High School renovation will be May 9, 2008 at 3:30 p.m.
