Scholarship offered for Glennon Heights alum

A $500 scholarship is being offered to a graduating senior with at least a 3.0 GPA who attended Glennon Heights Elementary School in Lakewood and who plans to enter the teaching profession. The Celebration of Teaching Scholarship was established in 1997 by Marjorie E. West, 1994 Colorado Teacher of the Year, who taught at Glennon Heights for 27 years. Applications are available at all Jeffco schools and at Glennon Heights and are due by April 18. For more information, call 303-982-8240 or 303-984-7004.
