Eleven Jeffco students were honored at the 2007 MyStudent, My Hero awards ceremony April 14 at SouthwestPlaza. Now in its fourth year,SouthwestPlaza established this award to recognize high school students who embody leadership qualities in their schools and communities.Honored this year are: Moriah Lehman, Alameda HS; Jared Willey, Bear Creek HS; Stephanie Chavez, Chatfield HS; Alicia Smith, Columbine HS; Ashley Krause, Conifer HS; Abraham Ng, Dakota Ridge HS; Wendy Kalkus, D'Evelyn HS; Kelsey Whitesell, Evergreen HS; Cassie Owens,GreenMountain HS; Lyndsie Marie Nappe, McLain Community HS; and Samantha Pauler, Warren Tech.
