Mullen graduate headed to film school
Contributed by: Marilee Yorchak on 5/25/2007

Congratulations to Lakewood resident Alex Yorchak, who graduated from J.K. Mullen High School last Thursday. Alex will be attending Montana State University in Bozeman on a merit scholarship as a film major. MSU is ranked as the #6 film school in the nation, and offers the only masters in natural history filmmaking. While at Mullen, Alex was a four year ice hockey player, a member of the National Honor Society, played two years of high school tennis, and was recently named to the Colorado High School Activities Association All Academic First Team (athletes in the top 10 percent of all Colorado high school students).
