WarrenTech students collect over half ton of food

Warren Tech's National Technical Honor Society collected over a half ton of food for the Jeffco Action Center's Thanksgiving Food Drive. Students from the 24 programs donated over 1,500 non-perishable food items.

National Technical Honor Society is a nationally-recognized organization whose purpose is to recognize academic excellence and technical skills in career and technical education. Warren Tech's NTHS chapter performs many community service activities throughout the year, teaming with the Lakewood Foothills Rotary Club for some of them.

Warren Tech is Jefferson County School District's Career and Technical High School open to any student at least 16 years old from Jefferson, Clear Creek or Gilpin counties. For more information, call 303-982-8600 or visit the website, www.warrentech.org.
