A Terrific Time at Eaton Terrace!!!
Contributed by: SM Merchant on 2/11/2008

Marie Quinn, activities director at Eaton Terrace, 333 Eaton Street, Lakewood, planned a celebratory event for the women in February which included the vaudeville team of Sunny Marie Hackman and Cheri Seeton, aka The Sunny and Cher(i) Show. The duo was embraced with enthusiasm and showered with praise: "This made my day!" "You two are so clever," and "When will you be back?"

The two entertainers regaled the residents with comedy sketches (complete with costumes), magic tricks with a message, music, singing and jokes. Sunny and Cheri, both balloon artists, made each resident an animal, flower or heart wand.

Laughter makes every day brighter, and that is the mission of Sunny and Cheri -- to lighten the load of others. The mission of Eaton Terrace is to provide affordable housing and services designed especially for seniors, 62 and older, thereby contributing to their health, security, happiness and worth, enabling them to live to their fullest potential. Eaton Terrace Residences provides subsidized housing to seniors, while Eaton Terrace II offers affordable 24-hour access to staff assistance.
