Red Hat grannies are the best
Contributed by: SM Merchant on 5/5/2006

The Red Hat Society, aka Lakewood Hummers at Lakewood Estates Retirement, 8585 W. Dakota Ave., had a rip-roaring good time with professional storytellers Sunny Marie Hackman and Cheri Seeton.
The Queen Mother is Robyn Howe; she is also the activities director for Lakewood Estates.

The "Sunny and Cher(i) Show" is a mixture of stories, skits, improv, balloon sculptures, clowning, jokes and music. The storytellers brought playfulness, imagination and comedy to life.

"The audience was fantastic," Seeton remarked.

"The seniors think we're the best, but they're the ones who make the show great; we only hand them the tools," Hackman said.

The storytellers both agree that they have found their purpose. A memorable day was had by all! Contact Cheri Seeton at 303.279.2419.
