Bella Luna, a story ballet inspired by commedia dell'arte, a form of street theater that flourished in Italy from the 16 th through 18 th centuries.Bella Lunaexplores the tragicomic elements surrounding the tale of a father trying to wed his daughter to a rich suitor, while she has fallen in love with a poor boy from the "wrong side of the tracks." You won't want to miss a moment of the action and still have an opportunity to see this amazing show. Boulder Ballet performs March 1 st and 2 nd at the Lakewood Cultural Center in Lakewood.
