Gaslight Theatre Company Opens The Curious Savage

Westminster's newest theater venue, Gaslight Theatre Company, opens on March 28, 2008 with its first production The Curious Savage by John Patrick.

This family-friendly dramatic comedy, set in the early 1950's, follows the exploits of Ethel P. Savage, a widow who has inherited ten million dollars. Mrs. Savage wants use the money to help others realize their dreams in spite of the efforts of her three adult step-children to procure the funds for their own use. In their attempts to control her, her children commit Mrs. Savage to a sanatorium, hoping to "bring her to her senses." There she meets and befriends the residents who teach Mrs. Savage some new lessons about life in the "real world."

Shows will run from March 28 through April 19, Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30 P.M. On April 13, the theatre will host a matinee at 2:00. P.M.

Prices are $13.00 for children, students, and seniors and $15.00 for adults.

The theater only seats ninety per show, so purchase your tickets soon! The theater is located on the southwest corner of 73rd Avenue and Lowell Boulevard.
