What ever happened to Sunny and Cher?

Memorable days always vibrate to some stroke of the imagination. Professional storytellers Sunny Marie Hackman and Cheri Seeton believe that people who come together in playfulness can rediscover the forgotten miracles of life.

Recently, an audience member remarked, "I think you've found your purpose."Seeton says, "If I can put smiles on faces, I have indeed found my purpose."

Their show, billed as the Sunny and Cher(i) show, is a mixture of stories, improv, balloon sculptures, clowning, jokes and music --similar to that other Sonny and Cher show so popular in the '60s.

This past week the duo performed at TheAtriaInn at Lakewood, 555 S. Pierce St. In their signature Engage Life program, which provides a host of enticing events, entertaining, educational opportunities and outings. The performance was held in an expansive living room where the intimate setting afforded an opportunity for the performers and the audience to play together and truly be themselves.

"The 'seniors' think we're fantastic, but they're the ones who make the show great; we only hand them the tools," addedHackman.

A memorable day was had by all!
