July Events at WOW! Children's Museum

Lafayette, Colorado -- WOW! Children's Museum (World of Wonder) today announced upcoming activities and events at the Museum during the month of July. Please see below for date, time and cost information for all activities and events.

Independence Day Crafts! - July 3 rd
Celebrate Independence Day by making a special patriotic craft the first week of July! Crafts available all day and are included with Museum admission!

*Please note that WOW! Children's Museum will be closed on Friday, July 4 th.

NEW! Drop-in Art Programs! - Throughout the month of July!
SQUISH! Tangibles for Tots
Wednesday, July 2 nd & Wednesday, July 16 th; 9:00am to 10:00am (during Toddler Hour). Art program for toddlers (age 4 and under). Experience art at a sensory level!

SPLASH! Paint for Primaries
Friday, July 11 th & Friday, July 25 th; 10:30am to 11:30am. Art program for children ages 4 and up. Explore painting in an unusual way!

*Drop-in art programs are included with Museum admission. We're going to make a mess -extra clothing or a smock recommended!

Pre-K (Ages 3-5) Science Classes! - July 9 th & July 23 rd
Use Your Senses
Wednesday, July 9 th; 10:15am to 11:00am.Practice using your senses to find and identify mystery objects. Make a special observation craft to keep. Adult participation and advanced registration required.

Bird Bonanza for Preschoolers
Wednesday, July 23rd; 10:15am to 11:00am. Come fly with us as we explore the nature of birds! Learn about different types of birds, how they eat, and where they make their homes.Adult participation and advanced registration required.

Grades K-5 th Science Classes! - July 10 th & July 24 th
Science Scavenger Hunt
Thursday, July 10 th; Grades K-2nd: 1:30pm to 2:30pm / Grades 3rd-5th: 2:45pm to 3:45pm. How many specimens can you find? Study them with all the cool tools in our laboratory. Create your own science notebook! Advanced registration required.

Bird Bonanza for Elementary Students
Thursday, July 24 th; Grades K-2nd: 1:30pm to 2:30pm / Grades 3rd-5th: 2:45pm to 3:45pm. Come fly with us as we explore the nature of birds! Learn about different types of birds, how they eat, and where they make their homes. Advanced registration required.

Story Time and Crafts - Every Thursday in July!
Children of all ages are welcome to join WOW! for story time and a correlating craft every Thursday in July at 11:00am! Different story and craft each week! Story time and crafts are included with Museum admission!

Summer Business Hours: Monday -Wednesday: 9am-5pm; Thursday -Saturday: 10am-6pm; Sunday: CLOSED. Toddler Hour: Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9am-10am.

General Admission: Children (15 months to 11 years), $7.00; adults are free!
