Who doesn't love to shop for a great deal on a jacket, coat or purse? On Thursday, Oct. 16 th the
"Great American Jacket Exchange" will be held at the downtown Oxford Hotel from 6 to 8:30 p.m. with CBS4 Denver's own
Molly Hughes as emcee. This unique fundraising event will benefit Warren Village, a non profit organization that assists low-income, single parents achieve sustainable personal and economic self-sufficiency.
"This isn't your typical shopping experience," said Sue Mohrman, President and CEO of Warren Village. "Participants enjoy a lovely evening at the historic Oxford that includes a deejay, light appetizers, and of course, plenty of bonding while shopping for that perfect jacket or blazer."
This is the third year for the Great American Jacket Exchange event. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 the day of the event. Participants are asked to bring along two "gently used" items (jackets, blazers, coats or purses) to the event, which are then placed on racks for the ultimate shopping experience. The ticket price allows the purchaser to select one item of clothing (or purse) to take home. "You would be surprised at the fine selection of designer pieces we receive for this event," said Mohrman. Additional items may be purchased for $25 each.

www.warrenvillage.org . The Oxford Hotel is located at 1637 Wazee Street in downtown Denver. A new addition to this year's event will be "Surprise Gift Bags" that will consist of cool, hip items that can be purchased for 50% of their value.
