Mills Milers log mall miles

Mills Milers is about many things- exercise, camaraderie, laughter, good health. Over two hundred members of St. Anthony Hospital's Health Passport program walk on a regular basis. They walk at Colorado Mills and in Westminster. They walk before the mall stores open, they walk when the stores are open and they walk after the stores close. It is exactly one mile around the perimeter of the Colorado Mills Mall. Together, Mills Milers have logged over 62,000 miles this year. They meet monthly to turn in their miles, enjoy a health-related lecture and to celebrate their accomplishments with prizes and camaraderie.

Last week, Health Passport director Jane Barnes announced the monthly awards and distributed the certificates of accomplishment. All involved decided that no one is ever too old to get a certificate!
