This is the inaugural year for Area 51 - Alien Encounter, located at 1985 Sheridan Blvd. in Edgewater. This attraction is different from the standard haunted houses, in that it focuses less on gore and more on art and atmosphere. Visitors will find glow-in-the-dark 3D sets, as well as various aliens on the loose.
