When I was a kid and would dress up for Halloween everyone knew I would have an awesome costume. My mom and I were the best with coming up with costumes. One year I remember I dressed up as Lily Munster from the classic show
The Munster's.
We had a wig with a long gray streak just like her, I had long nails, a long dress robe, the whole ten yards. I looked exactly like her. When we went trick-or-treating one neighbor even took a picture of me because she loved my costume so much. Another neighbor told me it was the best costume she had ever seen and didn't have anything else to give me so she gave me a liter of A&W soda pop! It was pretty cool but I had to carry it for a long time. My other favorite costume was Cindy Lou Who from the movie
The Grinch,
with Jim Carrey. I went to the thrift store and got a dress to match hers and a coat. The big challenge was my hair, what I did was I took a styrofoam cone, cut it in half, and put the top crone part of my hair around it to make it stand up just like hers. Then i took the other bottom half and braided it. My hair was the coolest part of my costume and people found it to be a mystery to how I did it. I love Halloween and love to use my mind to come up with awesome costumes.
