Sitting alphabetically, "boy-girl, boy-girl" during elementary school lunch can have its consequences, sometimes eternal ones.
Jesslyn Rae Hackman
and
Christopher Michael Hildred
know first-hand these consequences after having spent their lunchtime at Dennison Elementary School in just such circumstances. The result: Holy matrimony at Lakewood Heritage Center's amphitheater on July 29, 2007.
Their love, built on friendship in elementary school, blossomed at D'Evelyn High School and endured through college. Chris Hildred graduated in May of 2007 from the Colorado School of Mines and Jesslyn Hackman from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in December of 2006. They will make their home in Gypsum, Colorado, where Chris will work in Glenwood Springs for Holy Cross Energy and Jesslyn will teach 8th grade English and Social Studies at Gypsum Creek Middle School.
Their parents,
Brad
and
Sunny Hackman
and
Steve
and
Ginger Hildred
, celebrate with them, knowing that "home" is any four walls that enclose the right two people.
