Lakewood woman bakes her way to big win

Rosemary Kehl of Lakewood was awarded ten ribbons during the 2006 Colorado State Fair Pantry Competition.

Six first-place winnings were awarded for: fruit bread with and without nuts, vegetable
bread with nuts, quick coffee cake, pizzelles and brittle; two second-place for nut bread and microwave candy; and two third-place for banana bread without nuts and vegetable bread without nuts.

The winning entries were displayed with their ribbons during the fair.

Rosemary is a FABULOUS cook. Colorado is lucky to have her! We'd like to get her back to California where she grew up.
