The kindergarteners of today are the graduating seniors of 2020 and the staff and students of Jefferson High School want to encourage every kindergartener to envision their high-school graduation day.

Jefferson High students escorted 350 kindergartners from five Jeffco elementary schools, the halls lined with other high-school students cheering the young students on, as they entered the school's gym to have a Kindergarten Celebration May 20.

Students from Molholm, Lumberg, Edgewater, Martensen and Stevens Elementary schools will wore t-shirts with the Jefferson High School logo, along with Class of 2020 on their backs.

The celebration was a way to encourage kindergartners to picture themselves as high school graduates and put them in a successful mindset at the very beginning of their educational careers.
