Beginning with a parade, firefighters will honor their fallen May 10, at Belmar Park at 10:30 a.m.The parade will make its way from Garrison and Center Streets to the Colorado Fallen Firefighters Memorial on Allison Parkway in Lakewood.

On Saturday May 10, firefighters and citizens will gather to remember those firefighters who have fallen in the line of duty.With deep sadness, four names will be added to the memorial this year, bringing the number of firefighters in Colorado who have made the ultimate sacrifice to 135.

The Memorial ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. in Belmar Park with speakers from the fire service, as well as music and traditional fire service observance with bag pipes and a combined Honor Guard.
