Election ballots coming out

Dear Neighbors, Friends,

We are in the final weeks of our campaigns, and I just wanted to extend my gracious thanks to all of you who have supported the cause, stayed strong in the face of adversity, and worked so desperately hard to promote our message of change.

An independent poll was conducted last week. The campaign also conducted a private poll, and the results are very positive.It's wonderful to see so much citizen activism rising out of so many good people. Stay on message, stay strong, and endure the storm for a little bit longer.

In Outward Bound, we have a saying: that we are Crew, Not Passengers." Together, we are actively involved in affecting the changes we seek for the benefit of our world. Apart from each other, we cannot achieve our goals.

One of the questions in the Channel 8 debate is why there is such a disconnect between City Hall and the Citizens. The answer is that citizens do not have a voice. We are, in this election,creating that voice. Win or lose, that voice is coming into being.

Thank you for your support and dedication to our City.
